I will try to limit my calorie intake , preferably to 1200 cals a day , and I will try to go to the gym everyday .

3. Well it's a good thing you are a guy.

I have to admit that when I was a teen and desperate to grow any facial hair there were women who had me beat hands down.

Myself, I rather like having a beard and have not shaved in 3 months. I vow not to shave my beard until I feel like it, but I'm hoping to let it grow for a year. The beauty is that there's nobody who can tell me not to grow it.

5. I'm growing my first beard for no particular reason.

I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I really do. It kind of angularizes my face, which is round.

I like the weight loss incentive though - I need to drop a few myself.
