4. Big Bear Lake
If you could see over the top of the house in the foreground, you could see the water.

It was about 3/4ths of an inch. I'm on the south side of the lake, looking north toward Fawnskin. The snow in the picture is mostly gone, except for the places where the sun didn't shine today.

5. down here at sea level
we heard that there was a kick ass storm last night on your mountain; they said two inches in an hour. Could use some of that water down here.

7. Wow. I don't know where that came from.
Last night at 11, I was in the spa, and the sky was completely without clouds.

This morning, well, you're looking at what I woke up to.

The general notion is that 1" of rain equals 10" of snow, or so I've been told.

Trust me, we could use the water up here too. Although, in the large picture, I'm thinking we've dodged the bullet for this fire season.

The lake is about 7 feet low. I'm seriously hoping for that forecast El Nino.

9. My dear cherokeeprogressive!
Snow?

Wow, we never have that here at sea level!

That little dusting looks mighty pretty!

I hope you'll have lots more...

:hi:
