It's people posting threads SEEKING PERSONAL ADVICE or venting about facets of their lives not even remotely political. Not all Lounge threads are cats/dogs/poop/pee. That is the kind of condescension I was referring to in my post above - that somehow GD is inherently superior to the Lounge, when in fact, GD is so full of its own shit, I'd say the two forums break even.
