10. Although isn't the quote more like "The Ramans do everything in threes"?
I haven't read the book since like '77 or so, so I'm not sure.

11. Probably
but that would have also given away the title of the book

I haven't read it in a while either; I only remember the quote the first way, even if it's wrong ;)

15. Shit. Now I'm going to have to read it again.
I'm sure it is in a box in the basement.

6. I'm guessing that's a baseball reference
as I don't know who Jay Cutler is and I've never heard of the "INTS" acronym ;)

9. Sigh. You are way cooler when it comes to movies than football, I see.

INTs are short for interceptions. Cutler is the Bears Quarterback who threw five interceptions last night. That's horribly bad, in case you don't know. (I can relate. I never liked sports until I moved to Dallas and got a job in sales and realized that football was the one thing almost everyone in Dallas could talk about. Then I got addicted.)

12. Well, I suppose I could talk about midnight frisbee golf
but you don't find too many people that participate in that particular sport :P

13. Frisbee golf is big in Austin.
Used to be bigger, though, now that I think of it.

14. Yeah, I know they have a course set up somewhere along Lake Travis
but I've only ever played on the campus of UH here, years and years ago. I wouldn't mind getting back into it as it is a lot of fun. I have a weird throwing technique, but it works :)

16. They have one on Shoal Creek along Lamar, too.
They used to put them in just about every new park out here. I never played, but I saw it all the time.

17. One job I was at we had a guy that was a distance champion
but I believe he also played "disc golf" and won in that, too. I just liked it for fun :D

Also, our "holes" at U of H were nothing more than the various sculptures and fountains around the campus. That's probably the better way to do it anyway, as you can have your own "private" course :)

19. Oh yeah. I used to love that park.
We almost bought a house in a subdivision right across from it when they were just building the park. I used to go climb the trees down there.
