I'm so excited. I'm a huge Springsteen fan but I've never seen him live.

1. I saw him at the Meadowlands last year. That's the Mecca for Bruce Springsteen fans
Every fan should at least one in their lifetime see Bruce perform in front of his home crowd!

4. you've never seen him ...wow-even at their ripe old age, you are in for a major treat

STILL the best band on the planet. Saw them in April in Denver and they still got it ( and that was 33-plus years after my first time, which was just weeks after the release of Born to Run). I'm insanely jealous of you and the thousands of others that'll be there tonight. I love living in New Mexico but that's one of the few drawbacks; he NEVER comes here ( once, solo in about'95 , and that's it) .Always have to go to Denver or Phoenix ( 900, and 1000 miles round trip respectively). I'm hoping that he does one more swing out west before ending this tour. So far, nothing out this way at all, but still hoping. Have a great time; and we both know you will .

5. Cool
My bro Jeff goes to see the boss all the time.
We tease that he wants to be pulled up on stage for "Dancin in the Dark"!

6. Just saw the same thing a few weeks ago - it ROCKED
On Wednesday night Jon Stewart inteviewed Clarence, and admitted that the closest he comes to going to church is the feeling he gets at a Springsteen concert. I tend to agree - it's an astounding experience. You are in for a treat, IGBD

Jungleland was particularly memorable. The Big Man was wonderful. I was blessed to have seen the BTR tour the first time around (!!!) back in the 70s.

You'll hear the entire album, but there's always a surprise - at the one I saw, an Elvis impersonator got up and did Elvis songs with Bruce. God only knows what surprises you're in for.

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

don't expect to be able to enjoy your MP3s for a while after the concert - the recordings sound so washed out after the live show.

8. hey Johnnie! What's new?

:hi:

Every time I think about trying to get Springsteen tix, they are already sold out! Much easier to get tix to all the obscure alt and indie and jazz I love that fewer people care about...

9. Hiya tigereye!
:hi:

I don't do many shows these days, just don't feel like it. My buddy got free tickets to his show here in Cleveland the other day. I have never been a fan of Bruce, but I guess a lot of people like him. Not my cuppa tea..

10. can't do much better than free tix!

I would love to see Bruce, just for the show he apparently puts on. But generally I prefer smaller venues - I still love to go to shows, particularly when there is no cigarette smoke. I just can't deal with is anymore.

Saw Richard Thompson and Loudon Wainwright a few weeks back with my husband on "date" night. Show was incredible. I've seen Thompson about 4 times - he's the most amazing guitar player. (and sexy too!) ;D Elvis Costello and Steve Earle also are a lot of fun to see. With Costello you really get your money's worth.

I just saw Pirate Radio and now my head is full of Kinks and Who tunes.
