2. But the sheer tackiness of the original is half the fun!
I don't want to see a "remake"...:banghead:

3. I know!
The original is one of those truly great cheeseball movies, complete with Harry Harryhausen stop-motion animation.

This is CGI mashed together with "300" acting.

8. I think you meant 300 "acting"

13. And completely inaccurate, too!
I particularly love the part where Perseus rides Pegasus. That sent our high school Latin teacher into fits of rage.

4. Yes - its like Jason and the Argonauts
Imagine that if the acting, fx, production values were good? (actually, they were pretty good for their time in that movie. Clash of the Titans, however....)

6. I'll write you a note.
So you won't have to see it.

5. Wow. A bunch of short clips of grunting faces and pointy swords.
It could be good, bad, awful, a comedy, a romance, a wrestling movie, or a documentary about squid hunting, and I couldn't tell a thing from that preview.

9. Roidz + video game metal = avoid.
I'd like my childhood preserved with Ray Harryhausen, The Kraken, Bubo, Burgess Meredith, naked Andromeda and Medusa intact, thank you.

10. I was 14 or 15 when I saw naked Andromeda
it was certainly a good movie moment for me. Judi Bowker held a fond place in my heart for years after.

11. And it's going to suck badly...just like every other remake of any other 80's classic
be it mainstream or cult classic, that is....Hollywood sure ran out of ideas! about ten years ago, maybe! I guarantee it will suck because it will be bloated with CGI and bad acting....let's see if my prediction comes true, shall we?
