"Dollhouse" is being cancelled.
Fox just has NO luck with Sci-Fi.

(Unless you count their "news" network.)

NEW YORK - The TV fantasy drama "Dollhouse" has been cancelled.

The show ends after its current 13-episode order, with the series finale scheduled to air Jan. 22, according to a person familiar with the show who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to discuss it.

3. I was surprised they gave it a second season.
It's sad that these good sci-fi series get 1 or 2 seasons and cancelled.

11. Yeah I really enjoy Dollhouse
Doesn't help that Fox didn't really promote it like they did Fringe and then putting it in the Friday night death slot meant.. well.. death. heh. But it's still a great show that seems to get better in each season as they progress. People who went into this wanting another Buffy were just fooling themselves - I think it's quite a good show for what it is. I'm really looking forward to the NINE episodes we get during Dec and Jan! Joss has promised an epic finale - I'd like to see it be where the events from Dollhouse run into the events from Epitaph One. At any rate - can't wait! See ya round the Buffyverse elshiva!

5. I tried to like that show but I just couldn't
They finally aired an episode last week that I enjoyed but for the most part I did not dig that show.

I'm still morning the death of The Sarah Conner Chronicles - to me, that show was awesome.

9. The choice for FOX last year was between Dollhouse and SCC.
Fox chose poorly, IMHO.

10. A coworker convinced me to watch the first season on Netflix
I didn't like it at first, but finished watching the first 2 DVDs I had and it kind of grew on me.

13. I'd never heard of it until I saw a bunch of episodes on Hulu.
I didn't even know it was on Fox...or on Friday...or on at night for that matter.

But I did like it. And it was probably because I could watch 3 or 4 episodes in a row if I wanted to.

I can imagine that watching one episode per week, and on Friday night no less, would get a little tedious.

Even so, it was one of my favorites and I'm sad to see it go.

6. I watched the first season
Mainly to watch an hour of Eliza Dushku, but even she couldn't save it. I DVR'd a few episodes and they kept building up so I erased them because I knew I couldn't sit there and watch them.

7. I LOVE Whedon, but that show deserved cancellation.
FOX was more than generous to even bring it back for 13 in season 2.

She's hot, but Dushku is a terrible fucking actress. She's not a lead. Not in this. Not in anything.
