Dad & Grandpa...
Edited on Wed Nov-11-09 02:49 PM by Drunken Irishman
The two most important men in my life. Grandpa served in Normandy and Germany from 1942 to 1945 during World War II and Dad serviced in Vietnam.

I've had issues with my father, but I know - through all the pain and struggle - he's a good man.

Today, I honor both.

Grandpa has since passed, but my dad, health problems and all, is still alive.

Thank you to every veteran.

Especially gramps and dad.

1. Thank you for sharing.
I am glad you are proud of them.

Both of my grandpas were in World War II, and Dad was in the Army Reserves.
