Carl Sagan would have been 75 yesterday.
I am grateful for what he gave. His books are awe-inspiring and humbling, all at once. "Cosmos" is a standard in my DVD collection. I wish he was still with us. He helped me to find joy in small things, and awakened an interest in science that will never be quenched.

Thank you, Carl. Happy Birthday, wherever you are in the Cosmos.

2. I got Cosmos for my 9th birthday, just a couple years before Sagan died.
I miss him. :(

3. Most of it is still relevant today.
Watching "The Universe" and other science programs, a lot is borrowed from "Cosmos".

prefer the newest shows out there in terms of the most recent information and coolest look. (Did get my older son to watch one section where Carl was talking about hieroglyphics. He did think that was kinda cool. LOL)

5. I like Michiu Kaku and Neil DeGrasse Tyson
They have that same kind of impish spirit that Carl had. Nova Science Now is a good program.

I think Sagan's wife, Ann Druyan, is trying to put together a new Cosmos series. I hope she does.
