All I Want

All I want is a puppy dog
with a gently wagging tail-
All I need is a kitten cat
with gently kneading paws.
All I see is a new-found friend
who gives unlimited love.
All I have is the companionship
of a forever loyal friend.

All they want is a tummy rub
and a scritch behind the ear-
All they need is a squeaky toy
and a lap for sleepy time.
All they'll give is so much more
than they will ever know-
All I'll give is anything
and everything for them.
