Why doesn't anyone rave about bird flu anymore?

Bird flu must be jealous of all of the attention given to swine flu. It's as if bird flu never existed in the first place. Nah, the media and powers that be would never do something like that, just to keep us in line with fear.

Scientists have always suspected that avian flu would become infective of humans through an intermediate hst like hogs.

H1N1 is somewhat of what epidemiologists feared with H5N1---H1N1 *is* a strain of bird flu...that migrated to pigs that mutated to swine flu that travelled back to humans. See the N1 designation on them both indicates similarities of strain.

Now that it's in the feline population, are we expected to call it cat flu? Sea kitten flu if it gets into fish?
