It had to happen. You got too cocky and now you've fucked up.

1. I haven't seen last night's episode yet, but I think I know how he fucked up.

Are we any closer to finding out who really killed Lundy and shot Deb? It seems to me that they're still setting it up to be Trinity even though there are so many problems with that.

On edit, title.

3. Did we find out who killed Lundy yet?
I'm really hoping that this question isn't buried and it's just assumed that Trinity is responsible. I know Dexter is convinced it's him, but he's not privy to a lot of the information the audience is. I'm going to watch the episode tonight, but I've already bumped into a few spoilers.

7. I see too many problems for Trinity to have killed Lundy.
First of all, when he sees Lundy at the plaza, staking him out, he tilts his head back and says "I'm found!" or "I've been found!" almost orgasmicly, like he's been waiting for the moment all his life. Then, he went out of the way to bump into him (I know some suggest he might have placed a tracking device on him during this time, but I don't buy it). Also, when he sees the report on TV about Lundy being killed, he's visibly upset and lashes out at the waitress. While I know whoever is responsible for the murder wants to make it look like the vacation killer, but I still don't see someone as fastidious as him doing something so sloppily, and so removed from his typical MO. And if Trinity killed Lundy to cover his own tracks, why would he remove his wallet and watch, yet leave the recorder behind? Seems to be too many holes for me. If it does end up that Trinity is the killer, I'm going to be pretty ticked.

9. I've got a few possible suspects in my mind.
I know it would be a shock, but it's a possibility that Anton did it. Perhaps he fell into a rage when he found out that Deb was back with Lundy. It would explain why he left Deb alive and it would also explain why Lundy had that apologetic look in his eye when he saw him. Also, it would explain why he wasn't surprised when Deb admitted that she had an affair and why he was so quick to want to take her back. Another possibility I've thought of is perhaps Trinity's son. Lundy's murder might have been what earned him that sweet mustang we saw in last week's episode and his "idle hands" comment really creeped me out. Those are my two top picks, but for other reasons, I think it could be Quinn, Quinn's girlfriend, or maybe even Masuka. I know these might seem way out there, but at this point I just can't see it being Trinity. I really hope we find out soon.

My suspects, in order of decreasing probability (IMO):
1) Anton
2) Trinity's son
3) Quinn
4) Quinn's reporter girlfriend
5) Masuka (my wildcard, but it would explain what he was up to on vacation and I think as of late it's becoming clear he's got a bit of a crush on Deb).

10. I don't think it's Trinity either. I was getting the vibe that he was giving away his things, like
he had given up because he had finished his last cycle, thirty years is three decades, so he finished his cycle and now he's ready to be caught. That's why he left a smudge of the ashes and gave away the hammer. I think he was pissed about Lundy dying because now he needs another plan to get caught.

5. Spoiler
So what about that coffin that Trinity was making? I sense that it's for himself, that's he's going to take his life before Dexter can do it and before Dexter can understand him.
