What does anyone know about Hamilton College in Clinton, NY?

A friend's son was offered a football scholarship there and can take early decision Friday. She loves it, his father (her ex) isn't sure. Anyone?

2. Yes, a good friend's son graduated from Hamilton in 2006. He

loved it. It was a good mix of academics and sports for him and he enjoyed the campus and the town. He did very well there and is now in grad school at NYU.

I grew up about 20 min. from there. Clinton is a great town, and Hamilton is a very good school. Not cheap. Wonderful location if you're into outdoors-y activities; close to the Adirondack Mtns. so good hiking, biking. Some decent local skiing and only a few hours from top notch Vermont hills (i.e. Killington, Magic, Bromley, Stratton, etc.). Beautiful kayaking/canoeing... ok, you get the picture :)

Great teachers (from what I hear, I went out of state myself); good social scene- enough to do without TOO much trouble to get into.

I would absolutely recommend it!
