Facebook is so cool! I just got "friended" by an old Army buddy I haven't seen in 18 years!

Life is good!... B-)

This was the last time I saw him. He came by my barracks room to say goodbye. He was being rotated back to the States from our post in Germany. We had gone through Basic Training together, and had served our overseas tour together. A few minutes after this pic was snapped, he left, and I haven't seen him since. Thanks to Facebook, we're back in touch!

3. A good number of my friends are current and former shipmates...
...it's pretty cool to see how people are doing, since most of them I haven't seen in 10+ years.

4. I just heard from 2 people I have not talked to since 1999
I could get used to things like this, but I am also very careful about posting political things on there--- I refer my political rants to my Twitter and blog-- I really don't want to make enemies out of old friends.

5. I really wanted to do Facebook but...
For some reason it did not like Gmail or hotmail as a source for my web address. SO I went to Friendster instead. No one ever contacts me there. I get more response on twitter.
