1. I know the site that comes from and it's pretty interesting
for the scale of many things.

Too bad the Vorlon Planet Killer is too big to show in comparison, too ("...they are said to be 26-36 miles (42 to 58 km) long.") :o

3. How old are you. Grow up. It's like this new "V" thing --
Edited on Sat Nov-07-09 04:44 AM by smalll
I remember the first V in the early 80s -- remember me and my sister, young teenagers, watching it and enjoying it, and our parents thinking it to be ridiculous nonsense. Well my sister and I are all grown up at this point. It's ridiculous nonsense to us now. But for some reason there's a lot of our generational compatriots (at least from what one reads on the Internets) who suffer from arrested development.

What ever happened to "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things?"

Also, H1-B visas? Bring Them On! Imagine how much MORE vampire-driven, zombie-centric, pirate-obsessed, comic-book-minded, "cosplay"-based and "furry"-focused our society would be today if our native IT fuck-ups could make the kind of money they could without having to compete against Vikram and Indira F.O.B.?

It's similar to H. L. Mencken definition of Puritanism: The haunting suspicion that someone, somewhere, may be happy.

12. If this was Star Wars
you and my husband would be best friends. He actually bought a book, a huge one too, of illustrations of every ship in all of the Star War movies.

"Star Wars Complete Cross Sections." He takes it to the bathroom with him.

Freaking nerds!
