Kill Bill (Parts 1 and 2) in 60 seconds and all in one take
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ex0ANhZ1Y6o I think they kinda cut too much story out of the Vivica Fox fight. They coulda stretched it out another 2.3 seconds... but otherwise a flawless reboot of a beloved franchise.

4. If ever there was a movie that could have been reduced to 60 seconds...
...that was the movie.

Tarantino has no staying power. He's shot his load. If he ever delivers another "Reservoir Dogs," I'll eat my words.

IF.

5. Ahh, you never know..
He may have a couple more in him? He has slowed to a crawl, I agree. He will probably surprise us all with something.

These things happen that way? :)

7. I rewatched Kill Bill Vol 1 the other night...
...it left me thinking, "wow, Tarantino's just not very good". Even the music feels randomly selected.

8. Definitely over rated. All his "tribute" movies are total shit, marketable shit, but shit.
The Robert Rodriguez half of Grindhouse was over the top fun; Tarantino's half was just tiresome and boring. Kill Bill had great stunts and a couple of good set ups (killing Vivica Fox in her suburban home was fun and twisted) but mostly repetitive and unengaging.

Compare it to Ridley Scott's The Duellists, which is essentially the same theme, but with a different setting. Ridley Scott nails it, Taratino only augers it.
