3. Farrah Falsetits
And I would look completely unconvincing in drag. Although, some Halloween I am definitely doing Eve Arden.

from the forties and fifties. "Mildred Pierce" stands out.

(You may be thinking of a short-lived show called "The Mothers In Law" co-starring Kaye Ballard)

8. Oh... Now EVE ARDEN... She's A CLASSIC Beauty
I love her voice and her presence... wonderfully feminine and strong at the same time. A handsome woman if there ever was one.

13. She is lovely!
Although a little petite for me to try. I'm a big-boned boy (6'3", 215). I think Beatrice Arther is far too obvious. Eve Arden was one statuesque lady. Hmm, I should wait a few years and go for the Margaret Rutherford look. Always loved her.

wisecracking waitress on a show called "It's a Living." She said her character was a cross between Mae West and Eve Arden.

15. Shirley LaBelle!
That's my drag name. It's funny, because I privately refer to a woman at work whose makeup and hair is worse than most drag queens as Sashay LaRue. On a side note, here locally (Chattanooga,TN), there's one who looks exactly like Sadie Frost. God, when the wife and I saw her perform at a show, it made me question my orientation for a while! Pure art, that's all I can say....;-)
