Sorry, but I am such a sucker for this cheesy show! Call it a guilty pleasure. All I know is, I'll be watching these eps!

3. I thinks its an awesome show...
One of the better non-star trek sci fi on TV in the last 10 years..

4. Last 10 years? Sorry to say this...
because it makes me feel old. I know it lives on in reruns, but the series ended in 1993. That's 16 years ago.

This getting old stuff sucks...

6. Great show, though it came apart in the last season.
The JFK episode was nothing short of right wing horseshit, and the Elvis episode was just fucking silly.

Overall, it was a brilliant show though, and I miss it. :evilfrown:

7. I started watching reruns around 1995 , and I remeber dad once
freaking out when he saw that the opening credits consisted of one kissing scene after another , so he forbade me and my sister from watching the show ever again.

Yeah , he was a prude.

8. I've been to the Bakulas's house.
I don't think that Scott would remember me (although he might), but I know that his sister would.

I could never get into Quantum Leap. My kids did, and they thought it was so "awesome" that I had been to the Bakulas's house. This grew into a running joke, on their part, that I had somehow dated Scott Bakula (if you know how kids are). No, I insisted, I did not date Scott Bakula; he didn't seem like a heartthrob to me, although he was good at theater in high school.

But Scott's sister Linda was in my high school class, and I always liked her. Nice people!

Maybe I should revisit Quantum Leap.

9. I'm with your kids--I think it's awesome!
I've heard he's a nice guy. And for some reason I "need" to know that celebrities I like onscreen are decent people IRL. Like it matters, but...I'm weird that way.
You know, that would make a good separate thread--who have DUers known before they became famous? Hmm...

10. I liked it but didn't watch regularly.
A similar show I loved, at least with regards to Time, was Early Edition :D

Although I can certainly watch online, I'd rather watch on a nice big TV screen as intended ;)
