My faith in sitcom actors is being severly shaken.
Edited on Thu Nov-05-09 12:58 PM by Tommy_Carcetti
First Coach Hayden Fox, now Cliff the Mailman from Cheers--both revealed as freepers.

Stop ruining my Nick at Night fun, dammit!

Who's next? Newman?

4. No worries...she's a Dem.
It was often the foundation of her battles on the set with Tim Allen - a Republican.

http://newsmeat.com/celebrity_political_donations/Patricia_Richardson.php

She did play a Republican, however, on West Wing. ;)

40. I disagree.
I had a cousin who got heavily into using and dealing. She was arrested many times and on the last time she was looking at 20 years. So she give her fellow dealers and suppliers. But she wasn't giving up soccer moms and hippies, she was giving up speed freaks, meth-heads and gang members. She did a few years, got clean and was able to salvage her life.

You can think she's scum but if you drug dealer and sitting in an jail cell and looking two decades of time, I wonder what you would do.

Drugs are not always victimless crimes. In this situation they weren't dealing weed.

...I could care less what a celebrity's political persuasion is, whether it be liberal or conservative. Put out a good movie, play a good game, that's really all I'm going to expect from them.

"Coach" is still a funny sitcom that I'll gladly watch for a laugh or two, regardless that Craig T. Nelson turned out to be a Glenn Beck loving freeper.

18. Damn right. I still enjoy MST3K, even though Mike Nelson's a Repuke.
I still prefer Joel who was more consistlently funny, but When Mike got those low and outside fastballs like Prince of Space, Space Mutiny, and Santa Claus, he'd hit it out of the Piss-your-pants funny ballpark every time.

23. Craig T. Nelson(Hayden Fox) uttered one of the best lines I ever heard
Can't remember the show or where I heard it. It went something like this:
He was explaining how he was self made, never took any gummint help
"I've been broke and on unemployment. I've had to use food stamps and the free medical clinic, but I have never, never taken any government help."

Surprised he can memorize a script.

42. I doubt Newman is a freeper. I saw him at a Maryann Williamson
several years ago when she used to speak every Monday night at a theatre here in L.A. Maryann is very progressive, was a backer of Kucinich at one point, and was really trying to start a movement to have a "Department of Peace" in Washington. I would think Newman is pretty liberal. I'm glad we got it right that it's the "Everyone Loves Raymond" wife and not the "Home Improvement" wife who's the freeper. A lot of people get those two mixed up.

They're free to be on whatever side they want, and I'm not going to stop watching Frasier just Grammer's a Repuke. When any of them run for office, THAT'S when I express my displeasure. Until then, I don't give a damn.
