11. I've heard it means fear of losing control.
I used to have this dream where my teeth were crumbing out of my mouth like chalk. It was at times in my life when I felt I didn't have control over what ever was going on in my life at that time. I'm much less "controlling" now and I haven't had that dream in years.

28. Its a result of anxiety, all right....it means you've been gritting your teeth while you sleep...
Or grinding them.

Your subconscious reacts as if they are falling out.

Sinus infections that put pressure on the teeth can
cause these dreams as well.

22. My thoughts...
The tooth resembles something close to you. Maybe a family member, friend or animal. You're losing it. Either through death or another avenue.

There will be pain involved - since it's rarely pain free when you lose a tooth.

Okay, I made that up. But it sounds reasonable, right?

26. Loss of authority, control, influence...
You are losing your "bite", meaning you can't assert yourself as you used to because no one takes your power seriously. It's not that you've really lost it but that you are worried about losing it.

31. Common anxiety dream. I've read that it can indicate fears of success, losing control, and
most bizarrely, conflicts between the male and female parts of your psyche (seriously).
