OK, Major Nelson. Do you wish for Jeannie to bring about world peace, or that other stuff you want?

1. Wish #2: toss Roger Healey out the airlock and watch his eyes pop out.
Really, there's got to be a way around the "no wishing for more wishes" rule. Let me think on this a bit...

2. Yes, there is:
Don't watch Disney movies about djinn ;)

As with the real Aladdin story, Jeannie doesn't limit the number of wishes. You get all the wishes you want so long as you are in command of the home of the djinni.

3. Disney? I was basing my genie rules on an episode of X-Files.
Mulder frees a djinn and gets three. First thing she does is put out the "no extra wishes" clause. Fuckin' cheapskate. For his third wish (he wasted the second on undoing the fuck up from the first wish) he wished for the genie to be freed from her curse. How noble. Of course if genie spells were real, she would have dropped dead right on the spot, having lost her immortality by that wish. But I think they were going for one of their "comedy" shows.

4. I know the episode, and it's still wrong.
Read the original Aladdin story, or look up the history of the djinn. All too often you don't own the djinni; he or she owns you ;)

5. Major Anthony Nelson was a complete idiot.
He never wished for anything.

However, he wasn't afraid of magic and never forbid Jeannie from using it, like his wimpier counterpart, Derwood. And more than once, she did say "He belongs to me."
