my sons fire department is command because its here in our lake

1. An old girlfriend's father had Alzheimer's...
...and regularly went "walkabout". He was always found by his family or neighbors, wandering near familiar haunts that some part of him still recognized. I hope the same is the case with this gentleman.

3. I do think these cases usually turn out well

they wander off and are simply confused but unlike with a child, it takes longer for folk to catch on the elderly person needs help
