The Prisoner premieres THIS Sunday, November 15 @ 8PM ET/PT on AMC

I never saw the original, but the storyline is intriguing. Is anyone familiar with it?

Okay, this is a tip, I feel good about this one. This is a remake of a UK 1960's series. Sometimes those brits can come up with some pretty good stuff -- like Prime Suspect. (So much better with Helen Mirren, though.)

4. I just bought the box set of the old series

unfortunately, I got the Avengers box set at the same time, so I have been wading through that first. I checked out the first couple of Prisoner episodes, but there is something about Emma Peel that has drawn my attention away(Not to mention how well done the Avengers are). I wish I had Amc so that I could see what they do with it.
Here's hoping they don't fuck it up.

7. The original was great

I have little hope for the Jesus and Gandalf hour. But I may watch it anyway.

The original is a genuine classic of style and writing and general oddness.
