Not that anyone here knows/misses me 'cuz I'm kind of new but I was out for 2 weeks with the creeping crud.
It was pretty horrible: the balloon head, the coughing, "general malaise" is a new term I picked up, etc. I can say without a doubt I was NOT exhibiting the symptoms of H1N1 but the doctor was concerned that someone as young as me couldn't shake a cold in less than 2 weeks. I was a wreck, I looked disgusting. My face was running like a garden hose.
The one bright spot: the boyfriend.
He came to see me every night, sometimes sleeping on the couch. One day my head was really stuffed-up and he brought me fresh sushi with extra wasabi to clear me out. He even remembered what kind of rolls I like from the time we went to a sushi bar together 4 months ago. He would just lie in bed and watch TV with me or just chat about silly stuff but he made sure I always had a glass of water or fresh juice or fresh fruit for snacks, whatever and that I didn't have to work around the house, i.e. it was my turn to wash dishes last week. He was always checking my temp or listening to my lungs. The one night I had a fever he stayed up all night.
He was such a sweetheart.
So...
...what'd I miss?
