It'll be damn near dark by 5:30. I hate going back on standard time. :-(

it enables me to close my curtains early so the Cackler across the way can't see into my house. It also makes the house cozier.

3. I'm with ya. I hate cold and I hate extra hours of darkness.
Although this week it's about 78 degrees at home. Even more of a rip-off, seeing as days like this should last 16 hours instead of about 9.

I went for a run at 4:30 and couldn't believe it was already getting dark on my way back. Soon I'll have to start running in the morning. I am SO not a morning person :(

7. In my 'golden' years I have become very much a morning person.
In my 30s and 40s I was a night owl. Now I'm worthless after 3 p.m. and in bed by 8 or 8:30. :eyes:

I'm not too crazy about the early darkness either, except: It's easier for me to get down to the beach for sunset pics... :hi:

I'm used to being able to get up and go out and view the stars really early in the morning. Now it's too light to see many of them well. It does make it easier to get going for work, tho. :hi:
