4. I saw it.
It was good for pure escapism. You can't think too hard while watching it, or you buy it. Just let go and take it for what it is. I liked it.

...and I go to Hollywood to see limited release movies regularly.

I never even heard of this movie.

ETA: I just watched the trailer at imdb and, seriously, I've never seen it. Looks interesting, too. How did I miss this one?

7. I would have liked to have seen it on the big screen
If it's as good as the reviews would indicate, I would have liked to have bought the DVD for a Christmas. What are they thinking releasing it January? As it is, I will simply wait for it to show up on Netflix.

Lucky you, living close enough to LA to catch limited release movies. One of the downsides of living in the sticks. I have found that many worthy movies never get a wide release. Primer, for example.

8. Saw it. Loved it.

It has a 2001: A Space Odyssey feel to it, only with a bit more weirdness from the get-go and a little less subtle semi-political message underlying the plot.

The only element I didn't like, which is apparent in the previews, is the "faces" the computer makes showing pseudo-emotions. I thought that was a tad corny.

Rockwell was excellent in it.

12. I thought it was pretty damn good.
I'm a rather big fan of Sam Rockwell, I think he's one of the best actors out there. While the DVD may not be out for a while, you can pick up a DVD quality rip if you have torrenting software and know where to look.
