3. I watched "Serendipity" last night...that's one of them.
The other two that immediately come to mind are Martin Scorcese's soundtracks for "Goodfellas" and "Casino," with the major gripe being some of the songs from the most memorable moments of both didn't make it onto the CD.

16. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
The soundtrack is practically a character unto itself.

The Empire Strikes Back - The Wagnerian leitmotif idea applied perfectly to cinema. All the Star Wars movies do this to some extent, but this is the best one.

Raising Arizona - Carter Burwell did lots of nice scores for the Coens and others, but this is my favorite one.

from your list, I like Amadeus and The Mission a lot.
