My motor club let me down today.

I came out of work to find my car battery apparently dead. It was a surprise since I had spent three hours driving back from out of town this morning. Anyway, my motor club wouldn't send out help because, when asked, I acknowledged my license sticker had expired (at the end of October) but I had sent away for them and not yet received anything. I went through two levels of customer service, each ending with the response that "As stated in your membership agreement..." blah blah. I said, "Look I've been with your service for 15 years and you can't help me?!" -- Nope. So I told them they lost a future customer.

When I got home, my renewal stickers were waiting for me in the mail.

Insurance sucks when it doesn't work for you. I know, "join the club" some will say. I figure I have given them over $750 over the years, and I can count on one hand how many times I've actually flashed their card.
