What does your house smell like?
Right now, ours smells like baking meatloaf.

3. Mmmmm...
I love Indian food. My husband prefers boring American food, hence the meatloaf.

6. I don't know.
My nose is stuffy. It takes a powerful odor to get through. I guess that means it doesn't smell very strongly of anything.

7. Unless odors are overt, people generally cannot smell their own homes, or themselves.
You just get immersed in your own odors and don't notice them. Someone walking into your house could probably smell what you cannot. I have a car that is just about 3 years from being new and a friend rode in it the other day for the first time and said he could still smell that new car odor. I haven't been able to smell it for a long time.

If I'm not cooking, the house usually smells slightly of anise. Not sure why.

9. Or a dirty litter box. Ever notice you can smell it when you walk in the door,
but 10 minutes later, nothing, or at least nothing that terrible.

The house smell I hope I never have is that old-people's house smell. It's hard to describe, but you know it when you smell it.
