Has anyone bought a cell phone from www.letstalk.com

My friend recommended it and I can get out of my AT&T contract and this shitty phone today and get a nice deal on a new phone (but no iphones).

and although I do not know personally the 150k+ members of DU, I have a good idea of some of the DUers who post here in the lounge and thought perhaps someone has dealt with this site before.

If you buy a phone on walmart.com you are actually buying it through letstalk.com. I got a better deal through them than I could have going direct through T-Mobile.

10. Well it depends on how much time you have left

It had something to do with being within 22 months of a 2 year or 11 months of a one year.

My friend said they are a wholesaler of the phones - so that's one of the reasons why they are so cheap. And I really love his HTC Tilt although I would have to get a higher monthly plan to get the phone for $99. (I get the cheap voice plan out there. I found out that I was doing about 200 anytime minutes and maybe 1000 of the 'unlimited' minutes so I went with the cheapest plan AT&T has that would cover both - never ever have I gone over).

Another thing my friend told me is that you can change your connection on your phone. He's out today but was going to show me (that day I had left my phone at home). I have the same problem with my AT&T phone - I have a deadzone in the middle of my house and I live in the city. You can select a different connection on your phone, but I don't have the details yet about how to do it.

I'm going to see if that makes the connection better. I hate giving up AT&T. The reason I don't use that many minutes is due to the fact that my entire family is on AT&T and I get all their calls for free.

We'll see.

12. I have an HTC Fuze. It's not bad but like you there's a deadzone

in my apartment. But this is a sparsely populated area and even though both decent sized towns around me have 3G reception there's no incentive for them to put up any more towers in a place this small. My time to do what you're wanting to is August of next year.

14. Looks like I'm stuck getting a used phone off Ebay.

The signal strength on the HTC Fuze is much weaker than my Motorola Razor. I thought about the Iphones when I got this Fuze, but I'm kinda leaning towards a Blackberry now. I've heard they hold a signal very well.
