Post a photo of your lazy, slacker, freeloading cat or kitten.
I know, I know. Cat photos in the lounge? WTF? Still, given that this generation of felines are self-absorbed, underachievers with a sense of entitlement, I think it is long overdue that we let everyone know what we are facing.

Plus, they're so cute and fluffy and delightful.

1. Here are my slackers cuddling together..

Although I should mention they worked well with my alarm clock this morning--as soon as the radio turned on they started walking all over me...

23. Oh! He is!
He loves a good scritch behind the ears--almost as much as he loves food. I had as similar first impression of who he resembles. Was half-tempted to name him "Adolph", but decided that was not such a good idea. My mom noticed that his dirty black nose is somewhat heart-shaped, so as a nickname, I we call him "Heart-nose."

So sweet!

My grey boy's tummy did not adjust to Daylight Saving Time, so, this morning he was walking on my head, eating my hair, licking my pillowcase, and then he sneezed on me for good measure.

18. Entitlement? Let's talk "entitlement"...
...I took this photo about five minutes ago with my cell phone in the living room, where it was dark, so sorry for the poor "night vision" quality:

The box is from a Pizza I bought at Safeway last week. The pizza itself is shrink-wrapped, so it's a clean cardboard box. Knowing my cat as I do, I realized she would probably enjoy this as her own personal "fort"...

...I was right. She curls up in there and takes a nap, and can still keep an eye on everything.

Entitlement strikes again.

64. Now, how cute are your furry pals!
How did Fiona ever survive, I wonder ;-)

Are they strictly indoor kitties? Or do they get outside and after your chickens?
:hi:

Our two fuzzballs. Scooters is the one who just loves the outdoors and Sneakers is the scardy-dee cat who just runs outside for a minute until there is a breeze and she freaks out and needs to come inside. In her defense--she survived near- tornado winds in a storm.

Both are nearing 20 years old.

(Excuse code references below - I can't delete for some reason - without deleting the pics.)

You can stop getting that HTML code around your pics if you copy the "direct link" under your pics in Photoshop rather than the HTML code one. That link is used when copying the image when you want to paste it into a website you are building.

It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years (for me) of being on-line. I always expect to see your green alien avatar from PT :hi:

I kind of miss the old VP chat rooms. It was this brief moment where I could find people from all over the world to hang with. I like to think that there is some place where they have all converged and I that I would find them again. I'm getting sentimental in my old age.

Good to see you again too, Roon.

63. Aw man! What a yoga pose!
Cats are relaxation gurus. We have a lot to learn from them about chilling out on a heroic scale.

I know I totally FAILED at naps until I had a cat to show me the way. Something about a soft fluffy critter who wants nothing more than to be near you and vibrate....

initially I thought there were 6 but one of them ended up being mom cats foot :P She is really a good mommy though, I have never seen a more content kitteh mom, just lays there and purrs and looks all dopey, she either has the patience of a saint or the birthing process gave her brain damage :P

91. I dunno. When people have done preference polls in the Lounge
of Cat v. Dog it is usually pretty close.

We cat people tend to post more stuff about the kitties, though, for some reason. :)

97. Lego, the rescue kitty
Edited on Tue Nov-03-09 03:00 PM by sazemisery
He was a Norwegian Forrest cat. My son worked at a vet clinic & his coworker couldn't keep him because of allergies. His first toys were Legos and that is how he got his name. He went to the Bridge this year. The mice gave him a long wake and now they are invading the house. Either gonna have to get another kitty or buy some traps!
