yeah, it's sort of Chinatowny, but the actress who plays his sister is his wife in real life.

5. It is good compared to 95% of what else is on TV.

This season doesn't grab me compared to earlier ones. I think the show is getting tired.

And I am a big John Lithgow fan.

6. I think Dexter jumped the shark long ago,

but I usually avoid these threads because I don't want to piss in the cornflakes of the Dexter fans.

Spoilers below for those wanting to check out the series.

Season 1 (which I liked) - Dexter's brother, also a serial killer, discovers his secret. Dexter kills him in the season finale.

Season 2 (which I also liked) - Lila, Dexter's sponsor (also a murderer), discovers Dexter's secret. He kills her in the season finale.

Season 3 (starting to lose me) - Jimmy Smits' character, an aspiring serial killer, discovers Dexter's secret. Dexter kills him near the end of the season. Seeing a pattern?

As soon as I heard that John Lithgow was playing a serial killer in season 4 I thought,"Oh, so he's going to discover Dexter's secret before getting killed in the season finale. I don't need to watch."
