1. Raina is my Grandaughter

She was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 3. She is now a healthy happy 6 year old.

That bedroom is a little girl's dream come true. I'm sorry for her pain but it's good to know that she is now healthy and happy.

4. She finished her last dose of Chemo on September 24th
I can't say enough good things about Children's Hospital in St. Paul.
They were great

13. My father died of Leukemia...it is GREAT to see joy and Health
from that nasty disease.

16. I am so glad. My dad was diagnosed December 31st 1996 died March 31 97
and I really don't think they did much for him

he was 65

19. My understanding is
There are different kinds of leukemia. Some more treatable than others.
Raina had ALL which has a higher cure rate. I'm sorry about your father. That must have been hard.

20. I am glad Raina is healthy
my father had meylofibrosis? The docs were confusing but they said it was the worst form of Leukemia... and he probably had it for a while before he finally went to the doctor


my parents were the type to never go to the doctor unless one was bleeding so bad that bandaids were out of the question and or a fever higher than 103.

the only reason he want to the doctor was because he hurt so bad he could hardly move...he said he felt like he needed to use the restroom but nothing would come out...?
