That was a Halloween from hell. My job security(at least as I perceive it) going from "good" to "quavery feel in the pit of the stomach", for no logical reason.

1. What happened that changed your job security status?

Now I don't feel so bad about not getting any trick-or-treaters last night.

2. I don't really know

My best guess is its a combo of things. The immediate issues can be traced back to miscommunication, impatience, and generational technology issues(how generations deal with computers).

The problem behind the issue could have more complex causes. I am concerned that "diet pills" used by someone above me are having unfortunate effects. I also suspect that there is a lot of pride and maybe some memory issues. I want to be charitable and yet I want to be pissed. I had been planning to devote another 5-10 or more years of work to this company. Now, I am unsure that the company wants me.

Plus we didn't get any trick or treaters. Prolly good, because we didn't have any candy to give them. I did get to watch cheesy movies with my wife and a friend, so it wasn't a complete waste of a day. I really hope that things look better tomorrow morning.
