Is it daylight savings time again?
I honestly have no idea. Do I need to change my cars clock tomorrow?

1. Nope, it's Regular time again
The National Institute of Standards and Technology refused to bail out the space-time continuum again, so no more daylight savings time...

2. Yup, "fall back."
Do it now, before you go to bed. Thus when you wake up at, say, 9:00 am it will really be 8:00 am.

It used to be the last Sunday of October, but last year was moved one week. Except, since Saturday was the last day of October I really was not sure.

Must have been great for party goers to have this extra hour tomorrow.

3. People in Basic Training really appreciate DST
I went to BT from October 20th to mid-December and we would only get 5 hours a night minus an hour shift of 'fireguard' duty so really 4 but you could really feel the difference with that extra hour of sleep.

5. It's the first Sunday in November, i.e. tonight
It's times like these that make me wish I still went to bars. Closing time in this state is 2AM at which point time reverts back to standard time = one more hour of drinking.

7. Party like it's 2020
For the late-night party crowd, the stars align this weekend.

First, Halloween falls on a Saturday for the first time since 1998, giving partygoers even more reason to go out and celebrate.

Second, daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday. Bars normally close at 3 a.m. in Hillsborough County and 2 a.m. in Pinellas — but with the clocks turning back by last call, people will get an extra hour of drinking time.

Combine the two occurrences, and who knows what can happen? It's never happened before. And it won't happen again until 2020.

8. Sweet! -- of course,
the bar never closes here at home, but I'd still say that calls for another round
