What halloween candy did you HATE getting as a kid?
Edited on Fri Oct-30-09 12:40 PM by Clintonista2
I used to HATE getting rockets candy --not sure if you guys have it in the U.S, but here's a picture of it:

I used to get tons of it, but the texture of it felt as though I was eating chalk.

4. Look like SweeTarts
I hated the orange peanut-shaped candy. Not sure if it was supposed to be marshmallow or what. Nasty.

I also resent Three Musketeer bars.

5. Any hard candy
I don't mind those peanut butter chews. Not all that fond of the current version, however, as there's hardly any peanut butter in them these days.

Necco Wafers. Sugar Chalk Discs. Same thing.

Malted anything. Gross. Dried vomit covered in chocolate.

16. There was some kind of toffee/caramel things that were common around here..
I forget the brand and so on, but I only ever saw them in these garish orange Halloween-themed wrappers. People gave them out by the solar mass, and I could never stand them. They managed to have the look, scent and texture of toffee candy without a fraction of the taste.

I actually liked rockets though, so you might want to ignore my opinion. ;)

24. Those were the ones I hated!
Those cheap sticky peanut butter toffee things that would glue your mouth shut when you tried to chew them. And, the only time you did try to eat them was when all the other candy was gone!

31. They truly were awful, but they served an important purpose.
Whenever I had a loose baby tooth, I'd chew a milk dud and it would wheak the tooth straight out, no muss, no fuss, thereby dramatically accelerating the whole Tooth Fairy transaction process.

37. It's worse than parents giving underwear "from Santa" to kids on Christmas
In the sense that it doesn't just suck - it's actually fucking a criminal act against all of humanity.

Even on Halloween, such evil is uncalled for.
