What are your "must-watch" Halloween movies?
Every year on Halloween night, no matter what else we watch, we always make room for "Young Frankenstein". It never gets old.

Damn your eyes!

1. Marty was awesome. I just watched Yellowbeard yesterday while my internet was down.
As for the topic at hand....

I always watch the original War of the Worlds, as it was a tv staple on Halloween when I was kid. The Thing From Another World (the remake will do, too) is another one. I might break out some Mario Bava flicks this year, as they've been on my mind lately for some reason. And The Creature From The Black Lagoon is a good bet. There's a few online that I might check out. Gozu, Meatball Machine, or Rubber's Lover. Maybe all three! :)

There's a good chance I won't watch any football Saturday as I plan on making it all horror all day.

2. I remember "War of the Worlds" as a kid too
Always loved "Creature From The Black Lagoon" - even dressed up as him for Halloween when I was 10. :-)

3. Wolfman - the Lon Chaney version
I love the old school classics.
Who hasn't felt like a wolfman before?

4. I haven't shaved in 2 days
So I certainly do. Hungry for Beef Chow Mein too, now that I think about it.

Love almost anything from Universal Pictures' horror genre from the 30's to the 50's. Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney, Jr. were the kings.

5. It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Halloween just isn't the same without it.

7. I tried to get a sincere pumpkin patch started
but the closest thing to a real pumpkin that will grow here in Japan is an acorn squash. I hope the Great Pumpkin will take that into consideration :)

11. I finally saw that about 6 years ago or so
Enjoyed it. It doesn't seem to be very widely known, or at least not as much as his animated features.
