I want to take up knitting/crocheting and have looked up how-tos and such, but I really think I need one-on-one help.

My grandmother was very good at crocheting, but she was left-handed and passed away when I was ten, so I didn't get to really learn from her.

Your pattern looks great - I would never have guessed you made it with scraps!

5. I don't own a buick

I met up w/ my folks at a family function, and was handing the blanket off to my mom (who was donating it to the church for their fair) and I realized that I had forgotten to take a picture of it.

So, out of the trunk it came so I could get a photo.

The last time I gave one away for charity, I forgot to take a photo of it.
