((sigh))
It's 1am. Do you think I should have a cup of warm milk with Kirschwasser?

1. My dear Writer...
It depends...

What is Kirschwasser?

The warm milk sounds good!

:dilemma:

2. Kirschwasser is a cherry flavored brandy.
It's very good as an additive to chocolate fondue.

And good in milk. :)

3. Hmmm...sounds interesting.
However, I seem to remember that using alcohol to help yourself sleep is not such a great idea...

The warm milk can be good for that. It has tryptophan, which is an amino acid. And it can make you sleepy...

That is, if you're trying to make yourself sleepy!

:D

4. Yes, that's why I enjoy the milk.
But why not alcohol?

5. I seem to remember that alcohol can disturb your circadian
rhythms.

It can make you initially sleepy, but later on, not so much. I'm sorry, the details are fuzzy...

I think it messes up the different levels of sleep.

Sorry I can't be more precise...

6. Okay. That's good to keep in mind. I've been in a lax mood lately.
School's been a killer, and I'm going through another one of my moody existential moments right now. :eyes:

But I'll certainly keep that in mind next time. Thank you.
