I'm a 54 year old arthritic with bad feet, bad knees, a bad back, and the muscle tone that you'd expect of someone who hasn't done an honest day's manual labor in a decade.

The ol' "I need to get in shape" thang is NOT gonna happen. I'm way beyond that shit.

Looks like I wear my knee and back braces for the big heavy item move tomorrow- if I can get up and walk at all. Good thing I've hired a couple guys to do the heavy lifting...

2. We have to the end of the month to move it all

and clean this apt. up a bit. Lots of work, and I only have the guys for one day. Hopefully they'll be able to get all the heavy stuff transferred. I intend to move most of my computer stuff myself.

We got the keys this afternoon and managed to move a modest load of boxes and clothes, and my waterbed. I was going to set it up today but I had to leave to drive my sister around, then do the doggie walk with Lady. By the time that was all done it was getting dark and friday evening traffic had kicked in, so I came home and took a couple pain pills.

I haven't forgotten you- I just don't have the address memorized yet, and my notebook is in my car. I'd also like to take a few snaps of the new place before it's too contaminated with stuff, and post them here.

I also haven't forgotten your poetry- I simply haven't had the time to drink it in properly. I have read it, however.
