Hurricane Neki - Pacific Cyclone near Hawaii
I'm surprised no one has mentioned this one as it's a Cat-3 right now. By the following graphic, it will miss the main islands, but they may still get something out of it.

1. Only Kaua'i and Ni'ihau are at the very edge of the possible tropical storm area

2. Still, y'all don't have a big land mass to slow things down quickly
and why I was surprised for no mention of it. Plus, so late in the season.

I only found out about it because I was looking at West coast water vapor satellite images to see what was going on in my part of the world and then see a hurricane track out in the middle of the Pacific.

Whatever happens with Neki, stay safe. Hurricanes can move erratically...

3. Storms like this one often make it to the west coast
where they can cause lots of problems. This is worth wathing.
