2. Indeed yes.
Friday is causal in the sense that it immediately precedes Saturday, and hence, the weekend. :P

10. Well, I assumed it was a dumb copycat...
...and went looking for the original.

But to answer the OP, yes indeedy, we have casual Friday at work, when our usual business-casual may be diluted with jeans.

14. I didn't see the original on "Causal dining" until later...
Both threads are very funny...I do love typos. I guess causal dining makes you queasy.
Cheers.

3. My department has a very relaxed dress code.
The rest of the newsroom is business casual, button-down shirts, dress pants, some wear ties.

We wear jeans! :) :woohoo:

4. Yes, but I get to dress casual all of the time.

We have casual Friday so the CNA'a and CMA's, and anyone else who wants to can wear jeans. I don't see it as much of a plus because I would think that scrubs are more comfy than jeans anyway.

I don't wear jeans because I just don't find them comfortable so I dress the same every day.

after Nose to the Grindstone Thursday, etc.

13. Yes. But only to a point. We can wear jeans. But not athletic shoes.
There's no mandate against boots of any sort, so I wear my hiking boots most Fridays. We can also not wear any T-shirts with "writing of any kind" though that last bit usually gets ignored until somebody comes in wearing a T-Shirt with "Bitch" across the boobies or something.
