I am having an issue getting my VGA to hook up to the TV
Like, it's all hooked up and stuff, but my computer won't seem to read it. I've hit the FN and f5 and such, still a no go. It's an acer 5100.

I couldn't find anything that helped in tech forums. If anyone has any idea, I'm all ears!

2. What kind of video card does it have?
Sometimes, rather than the driver only, you can go to we manufacturer's site and download the application for it, which may make it easier to switch the display.

What OS? Is it Windows XP? Windows 7 has awesome native support for such things...check out the screen shot:

3. I've got two samsung LCD TVs. One hooks up wo doing much.
The other came with a CD to install first. Maybe you need a special driver to install

4. Fn & F5 at the same time
Hold it down for a few and wait several seconds. You'll have to have the TV on the correct input mode when you do this.
