I bought a pair of XXL baseball pants as part of my Halloween costume. They fit, but I wonder: perhaps I shouldn't wear baseball pants due to my size and shape (pear). OTOH, I really want to be a baseball player for Halloween, and if I am comfortable, who cares what anyone thinks of how I look?

Opinions?

PS I have an Angels' jersey with my name and number on it. Sweet!

As for the basball pants, go for authenticity - if you just wear jeans and a jersey it's not really a costume, right? :hi:

There's a great family joke about the jersey. It was a birthday gift from Mrs. V., and we had a little party back home in CA with my family. We have the name from hell, and it's always misspelled. So the first thing I did after I unwrapped it was to be sure my name was spelled correctly. Everyone cracked up, and my sisters (to whom Mrs. V. had the jersey shipped in advance of our trip) said "that's the first thing we did, too!"

This jersey rocks. I wear it to the few Angel games I can get to, when it's not too bloody hot - I don't know how they play in that heavy polyester.

5. it's sunflower seeds in chicago. at least on the right side of town.

i love sox coach ozzie guillen. he is always just chewing a bunch and spitting the shells. although, he does chew gum when things get tight, and when he comes out to the mound, if he spits his gum out, nana nana hey hey.
