All time favorite small screen bastard?
I'd have to pick Mr. Burns from The Simpsons:

A close second would be Jack Donaghey from 30 Rock.

4. OI, RIMMAAAAAH!
That show was awesome.

Didn't they find out during the course of the show that Rimmer was a bastard in the literal sense?

I swear, they picked his name to make it easy to say 'Mr. Bastard.'

7. I was going to say "Mr. Morden"
but Bester was pretty bad, too. However, he did have a heart. The Shadows removed Morden's long ago

9. If we're going for heartless bastards,
we might have to give it to Kosh. After all the manipulation and interference...Kosh is pretty far up there.

Though he did have some great quotes:
'The avalanche has already begun. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.'

12. You have to wonder if JMS used Kurt's Rejoinder to create those quotes

But the first Kosh was nowhere near as bad as "red" Kosh. Just ask Lita Alexander ;)

The entire relationship between Lita and 'Red' Kosh was just wrooooooooong.

16. I'm dense.
After all these years, only now do I get it.

Thanks for pointing it out ;)
Of course, JMS has admitted to being like a 12yo when he was up late writing those episodes... :P

Even Star Trek fans liked it ;)
Although, at first, they all thought it was a copy of DS-9. Little did they know... :P

He was much more of a bastard - smug, smarmy, narcissistic, two-faced. Dukat was wicked evil but he was too complicated to be a bastard :)

15. There's only one correct answer - Ben Linus
"Of course, if I was one of them, these people that you just assume are your enemies, what would I do? There would be no balloon so I would draw them out to a really secluded place, like a cave or some underbrush, a good place for a trap... an ambush. And when your friends got there a bunch of my people would be waiting for them. Then they would use them to trade for me. I guess it's a good thing I'm not one of them, huh? You guys got any milk?"

26. I disagree
So far we've talked about people 'you love to hate.' I wanted Ben DEAD. I was rooting for Anna Lucia the whole time. 'Shoot him, shoot him!!'

Shortly after Anna Lucia's exit I stopped watching the show. Well maybe not then, it was right after they started flashing forward in time instead of back. It just got too caught up in itself.

31. A small screen villain as well as a real life villain- that calls for a special award!
How about a trial in a court of law to find out what the award should be?

Spike was so complex, even before the soul.

I'm going with Caleb, my favorite Buffy villain.
Bastard with his thumb. Poor Xander.
