1. i think a lot of it depends on artists intent. it certainly made me question
Edited on Fri Sep-18-09 02:19 PM by La Lioness Priyanka
why i find it so shocking and i WANT to see a problem with it. should people with downs syndrom not appear in art? if they do, do i have to assume its to shock or mock? etc

Intent means a lot. On its face, I see nothing wrong with it - in fact, it's nicely composed and lit.

3. I think it's beautiful
I'm sure the people in the frames were happy to participate. :-)

It shows the light within all of us.

5. It was the annual Seder meal
with unlevened bread, herbs, and wine, which we in the xtian community have turned into communion.

7. I love it.
The only questionable thing I see here is the blog post you linked to. I'm sure they all had great fun to pose for it.

8. Shocked at the implication...
that Jesus wore eyeglasses!

Beautifully done photographs, and I think the subjects look rather noble in their presentation and expressions.

11. I don't have a problem with it at all.
In fact, I think it's pretty cool. Great poses and well photographed.
