Who's Josh Groban? Other than a mega-douchebag. I've already figured that out.

Just saw him on Oprah.

He bills himself as some sort of "musician".

Is this one of the assholes from Oasis? Or is he one of the N'Sync shitwipes?

Who is he?

2. Both the "songs" he "sang" were romantic shitpiles.
Did he just show up on his own as a solo act, or did he leave some other douchebag band to go solo?

Or is he one of those American Idol talentless asshats?

instruments, sings bel canto in 4 different languages, writes his own music and does kickass south park and monty python impressions.

what can you do?

eta: david foster discovered josh when he was 17. i would classify him as the american andrea bocelli, except that he didn't have a career detour first (bocelli was a lawyer before he was a singer and then an italian pop star before being a worldwide opera star) and he hasn't done opera yet. bel canto is as far as he's gone because he's in his 20's and male voices don't mature until 30-35.

5. He's like Yanni.
Only he uses his voice to inflict pain, not his fingers.

9. He's a very overrated pop/classical singer.
My sister-in-law and nieces adore him because he's good-looking and sings "romantic" music. I think he sucks because EVERYTHING he sings is SO DRAMATIC and he swoops into his notes instead of planting his landings. He's kind of the vocal equivalent of a reproduction of the Mona Lisa painted on black velvet.

11. I'm a musician, I say he's better than Bocelli.
He has a better voice and better technique than Bocelli.

I think it's disgraceful that they prop up Bocelli and give him opportunities to do opera when there are talented young people who need the opportunity to do "Werther".

Bocelli does NOT have the technique to do opera properly. That's my two cents' worth.

As far as pop singers, he has the least objectionable voice I've heard in a while.
