In a letter, how do I address a Methodist pastor?

I'm considering applying for a job --- do I use his last name, as in Pastor LastName, or do I use his first name, as in Pastor FirstName? Or just Dear Pastor, and then go into the letter?

I have no idea, any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would use "Pastor Lastname" until/unless he tells you to use the first name, or you reach a first-name basis after employment.

If you're not sure of his title, check whether his church has a website and see how he is identified there.
