How to ditch your date before he ditches you
Terrance Dejuan McCoy, 23, may have inadvertently chosen a life of celibacy. If allegations against him prove true, future dates would be wise to cancel.

Ferndale police say during an April dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings on Nine Mile road McCoy, of Detroit, asked to borrow his date's keys to get his wallet from her car. As she sat waiting for him to return, she watched through a window as he sped off.

The woman also told police she had a backpack in the car containing $300 in cash, a laptop, iPod and camera.

The Daily Tribune reports that McCoy waved a preliminary hearing Thursday and was ordered to stand trial in Oakland County Circuit Court on charges he stole the woman's 2000 Chevy Impala, a felony that could land him up to five years in prison.

3. And it's Greektown "Casino", not "Casion"
Edited on Fri Aug-28-09 04:39 PM by JustABozoOnThisBus
at least "waved" would pass spellcheck.

The editor wasn't paying attention.

:hi:

Edit to add: Curiously, the MLive web site has a link to the original article in the Daily Tribune, which uses "waived" and "Casino". So it's a failure to cut and paste correctly. Yikes.

that's still a favor...you could give him the chair, but he's already got an Impala, isn't that punishment enough?
