I met Wednesday Addams and Cousin Itt today.
Lisa Loring and Felix Silla of the 60's "Addams Family" TV show. They were both very nice, especially Lisa Loring, who spoke a great deal about her experience on the set.

2. There was a local SciFi / Comic Book convention.
Pretty much a little bit of everything there. I am a Star Wars geek too, so I fit in pretty well there. R2D2 was running around, along with a very tall guy with a badass Terminator costume.

4. Christina Ricci did a great job in those movies.
And now looks amazingly like Carolyn Jones.

5. Wow, she grew up.
Her bio on Wikipedia is kind of heart breaking (and mostly inspiring since she seems to have licked her drug problem)

This is what I remember

This is what people with TVs get to see today

6. She was very gracious.
I must have spoken with her for about 1/2 an hour. She is very genuine. She had a bunch of the photos from the Addams Family, and she seemed to like the one best where she was sitting in Morticia's chair holding a headless doll.

7. I'm glad these guys can still make a living from those old shows.
It's nice to learn they are nice folks too.

9. Yes, as I understand, they don't get residuals
I think that started in the 70's. So, even though the Addams Family has been in syndication for 40+ years, the actors get squat.

8. Cool!
And I especially love it when actors talk of their experiences during the making of their shows!

10. She was talking about Ted Cassidy being a giant.
Especially to her, as a small child. She is still small, I am only 5'7", and I look tall in that picture compared to them. Felix Silla was a cute little guy!
